Thanks! It is the same van as in my Sig.. Almost 3 years apart.

The color is 2012 Kia "Corsa Blue".

Here's one from right after the electrical was done. There wasn't anything in the garage so no need to have the doors open. I'll have to snag one with the doors open sometime.

Do most folks leave their shop exterior lights on at night?

My shop and house are so dark that we joke that we disappear at night. Driving by you would not see us unless I'm out there.

We leave our house exterior can lights on at night but not the shop exterior lights. If I am working in the shop past dark I have the shop exterior can lights on but when I go in the house I turn them off. All are LED's so very energy efficient but we just like the lights on the house as it gives the front of the house a nice glow and like you mentioned, otherwise it looks like a black hole. I would say just over half of all 20 homes in our subdivision leave their exterior lights on.

Yes, it seems to have deterred thieves in our area. There was a rash of burglaries a couple of years ago and every house hit had no exterior lights. Since it is a cottage (only here sporadically during the week), I leave lights on.

My garage is in the rear corner of my yard. I switched over to LED motion detector flood lights. They come on at dusk at 50% for 3 hours. Any motion and they go to 100%. They work great and we love them. Even in the summer, they're off by Midnight, but kick on when motion is detected. I have them set to stay on for 5 minutes after detecting motion.

The garage is 40 feet from our bedroom window, so I can hear most noises that are above quiet talking at night. If the lights kick on and I hear something I get up to check it out.
