when i go to the payment screen, it still wants 55.09$. while it may be a glitch, it will require me torturing someone to get the refunded shipping, and there is a possibility that the glitch is the "Free Ground Shipping" message. while i might win the argument, it is still and argument, and i guess the light isn't important enough to me to deal with it.

I am in the M12 lineup, but interested in the M18 lineup for the 1/2 inch impact wrenches since I own a half ton pickup in the rust belt that is 6 years old and will need suspension work soon. Any advice on mid torque vs 2nd gen high torque for that application?

Or should I consider a cheaper kit with one or two M18 batteries and then get the mid torque tool only for $189 HD deal at the moment?

Don't worry, if you have three 5.0 batteries you'll soon have more than one M18 tool. It's an addiction.

IDK about that. His 3 most recent feedback is from buyers of the circular saw kit, all positive. I'm tempted to purchase....

I have one with the blade on the left and am right handed as well. I HATE it. I wish i would have thought about it before purchasing it. The waste side of your cut is usually on the right, correct? Well, if you're just trimming your piece, theres only a little bit of the base in contact with the wood. Almost impossible to keep it flat on the piece. And it might just be me, but it seems like it throws more saw dust up into your face.

The M18 Fuel circular saw has the blade on the right. The non-fuel has the blade on the left, which is what I just got.

My only other circular saw that I've owned had the blade on the right (I'm right handed) and I got used to to that orientation. Now it's an adjustment to have the blade on the left, but really, it works fine. You just have to adjust how you use/hold the saw. At the end of the day, it's a matter of personal preference.

Their are two M18 Fuel models. The 7 1/4" blade on the right.

The M18 Fuel 6.5" has the blade on the left and the M18 Fuel 7.25" has the blade on the right. I have both and use the 6.5" every time unless I need the extra cut capacity. It just feels more natural to me.
