When a new member joins GJ, they are required to have 100 posts* before placing a classified ad, either for sale or wanted. This rule attempts to cut down on scammers from screwing our fellow members.
*EDIT: Per rules change by Ryan, Admin & site owner, you will see the following in the rules for the classified section.
7. You must have a minimum post count of 5 to post threads in the classifieds. Alliance members can post no matter their post count. **Do not place a classified ad elsewhere in the forum due to not having the required post count.**
We like these posts to be productive posts, not one or two simple word posts. One of the first places new members post is in the "Introduce Yourself" section. When they see their fellow members making multiple posts with the same copy/paste message, they believe it's ok to do such. In a few short days, they have their 100 posts, can easily place an ad and scam away.
In order to be fair to all members, whether new or senior members, please reel in your posts in theIntroduce Yourself Here section.While we encourage all members to try to make the new members feel at home and welcome them here, please try to make an effort to limit your posts to a few (4 or 5, maybe a half dozen) a day in the"Introduce Yourself Here section."
This refers to this section of the GJ forum only and is not meant restrict your posting elsewhere on the forum.
