I had this vise forever and was wondering if you could still get parts for them? I know nothing about it but I’ve seen some great restorations…got this one from my father in law…it’s got a crappy coat of I think rustoleum on it..not sure of the original color.. Appreciate any help …

rustoleum hammered light blue or verde green are the closest original colors. unfortunately they dont make them anymore so you'll pay dearly for a can of either. Depending on how long you have had it you can use hammered gray. I have a brand new C3 in my shop and it's gray.https://store.wiltontools.com/在这里,你可以得到下颌。spe的准备nd though. make sure you post pictures on the big vise thread when you get done.

Yes, looking online at the comment, really sad choice on hammered finish colors for tools and machinery so I hope the OP finds a good original color. I used the Verde Green about 10 years ago on a vise and it looked great, now 10 years later would be nice to refresh but the colors offered are totally unappealing. Gray reminds me of all the battleship grey things as a kid where that color paint was in surplus after the war ended. The colors Rustoleum kept are designer colors for patio furniture. Hammerite is supposed to make some colors too that can be sprayed but they are hard to find too. Maybe the Rustoleum Sea Green textured might work, but "textured" can mean a lot of things including dust catchers. Good luck to the OP in restoring his vise.

Looks awesome. When I went looking for vise years ago, Wilton was the top of the list so it's what I have in the garage today.
